One of the most devastating things in life is when you or someone you love is diagnosed with a terminal illness. You’ll run the full gamut of emotions landing in a sea of anxiety, sadness, and uncertainty.
The End-of-Life Doula is here to support the patient and their loved ones. We help you to understand what is happening and bring about peace of mind during your darkest days.
Doulas are a non-medical, holistic support system. We are here to ease burdens, hold space, listen (really listen), guide, assist, provide short term respite care if needed, sit with the dying (no one should ever die alone,) create legacy projects, do a life review, hold vigils, and do what we can to make it a little less stressful for the patient and family.
A doula helps the dying person and their family understand what is happening to them. We help the dying through their last days and comfort those they are leaving behind.
